In addition, Asia remains a strong and important market for cargo.

The entry restrictions will continue to apply to China for the time being, which means that KLM cannot yet build the network there. Due to the EU sanctions imposed on Russia, KLM is currently using Russian airspace. The flight time of flights to and from South Korea, Japan in China is therefore one and a half to two and a half hours longer. The flights to Japan and China make a stopover in Seoul.
