Start of the Schiphol summer timetable: 9 new destinations

New this summer is Austin, Texas, to which KLM will fly. TUI fly offers four new routes: Dakar, Senegal; Kavala, Greece and two cities in Tunisia: Djerba and Enfidha. Easyjet adds Brindisi to the network from Schiphol. Saudia, KLM’s partner, also flies to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for the first time in the summer.

East Midlands in the United Kingdom will be served by Flybe. This British airline returns to Schiphol after an absence of several years and will serve three more destinations in the UK: Belfast, Birmingham and London Heathrow. A real newcomer is Amelia, a French regional carrier, which will connect Amsterdam and Strasbourg twice a day.

TUI fly will offer six destinations this summer that are already served by other carriers: Skiatos (Greece), Hurghada (Egypt), Boa Vista (Cape Verde) and the three Turkish cities of Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman. Sun Express will also fly to the latter destination. Transavia adds Ponta Delgada (the Portuguese Azores) and Riga (Latvia).

Vueling will visit Copenhagen, SKY express will go to Athens, Jet2.com will fly to Birmingham (UK) and Air Transat will fly to Montreal. EasyJet will add Kefalonia (Greece) and Pisa to its own timetable this summer. Furthermore, ITA Airways, as the successor to Alitalia, will also fly the existing routes to Milan and Rome in the summer.

Due to the war in Ukraine, there will be no flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev and Minsk for the time being, a situation that is also the case now.
