This is the ninth price increase since the four-and-a-half month period in the price review expired on March 22. On the first four occasions, prices rose by 80 baisas per liter – the largest one-day rise since the daily price review was presented in June 2017. In the following days, the price of gasoline increased by 50 baisas and 30 baisas per liter, while the price of diesel increased by 55 Baizas and 35 beers per liter. On Tuesday, the price of gasoline increased by 80 baisas per liter and diesel by 70 baisas.
Altogether, petrol and diesel prices rose by Rs.5.60 per liter each.
