Gasoline and diesel prices increased by 40 pounds; Total increase now at Rs 8.40

On Monday, petrol and diesel prices rose by 40 baisas per liter each, bringing the total price increase in the past two weeks to 8.40 rupees per liter.

Petrol in Delhi will now cost 103.81 rupees per liter compared to 103.41 rupees previously, while diesel prices have increased from 94.67 rupees per liter to 95.07 rupees, according to the state’s fuel sellers price notification.

Rates have been increased across the country and vary from state to state, depending on the occurrence of local taxes.

This is the 12th price increase since the four-and-a-half month period in the price review ended on March 22nd.

In all, petrol prices rose by 8.40 rupees per liter.
