The Kuwaiti have scheduled a wide range of aircraft on the route in the first weeks after the resumption: the Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A330-200 and A320neo. The Boeing 777-300ER will be on the first flight of this season. It is expected at Schiphol around 2 pm.
Kuwait Airways reopened the passenger route to Schiphol last September after seventeen years. Before September, cargo was already being transported to the Dutch airport with passenger aircraft, but no travelers were allowed yet.
Until 2004, the Kuwaiti flew from Schiphol to both Kuwait City and Chicago. The latter destination is no longer served. In Kuwait, travelers can transfer to flights to other destinations in the Middle East and in South and Southeast Asia.
