The employers and unions in regional transport have been negotiating a new collective labor agreement for some time now. The employers submitted a final offer to the trade unions CNV Vakmensen and FNV on 4 February. The members of CNV have agreed to that final offer. FNV has not agreed and is taking action, with members holding 24-hour regional strikes. A 24-hour strike has been announced for Saturday 21 May at the Hermes parking facility in Eindhoven.
This one-day action will in any case cause nuisance for (groups of) travelers. Hermes calls on travelers to plan their trip shortly before departure and to keep an eye on the company’s website.
